On 28 October Prof Tomohide Watanabe and Asst Prof Keiichi Kubota paid our Faculty of Engineering a visit from Gunma University’s Faculty of Science and technology. They were warmly welcomed by Asst Prof Wilasinee Yoochatchaval, with whom they discussed the possibility of establishing student exchange programs and research collaboration between both institutions.

Gunma University is located in Kiryu City, approximately 100km northwest of Tokyo. Their School of Science and Technology has departments in four fields: Chemistry and Chemical Biology, Mechanical Science and Technology, Environmental Engineering Science, and Electronics and Informatics. They specialize in medical innovation, hydrogen fuel cells and carbon materials.
