Interns from National Institute of Technology, Japan
Two Japanese undergraduate students are conducting their internships at our Faculty of Engineering’s Department of Electrical Engineering.
Tokumi Tokuda is a bachelor student in electrical engineering, specialising in electromagnetism, at the Machine and Electronic Systems Department of the National Institute of Technology, Kagoshima College. From 19 August until 16 September, he is performing a research analysis to electronically measure the sweetness of mangoes, under the guidance of Dr Denchai Worasawate.
Eisuke Kuramoto majors in mechanical engineering at the National Institute of Technology, Ariake College. He is conducting research into practical applications of a hanging-type exterior wall tile inspection robot, under the supervision of Dr Chowarit Mitsantisuk, from 20 August to 12 October. He has received a scholarship from the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) to finance his internship here.
